We Saw What Was Happening In Your Kitchen

Every day, in kitchens across the world, millions of families are cooking on surfaces that are slowly breaking down.

Not all at once. Not in any way you can see or taste.

Just a little, every meal. Micro-particles of synthetic coating. Fragments of PTFE. Traces of forever chemicals that don't leave the body once they enter it.

PFAS have been found in the cord blood of newborns. In breast milk. In the blood of children who have never touched a non-stick pan themselves. Because their mothers cooked on one.

This is not fear-mongering. It is peer-reviewed research that the cookware industry has known about for decades and chose not to tell you.

We chose to tell you.

Where It Started

Mark Halston became a father and did what most new parents do. He went through the house and started checking everything.

The formula. The bottles. The cleaning products. The food.

Then he looked at the pan.

He already knew about PFAS. He knew about the DuPont lawsuits, the Dark Waters documentary, the studies linking forever chemicals to immune disruption, hormonal damage, and developmental delays in children.

What he didn't know was that the pan marketed as PFOA-free sitting in his kitchen still contained compounds from the same chemical family. Just with different names. Ones that hadn't been banned yet.

He threw it out.

Then he went looking for a replacement. A real one. Something he could actually verify.

He couldn't find it.

So he built it.

The Problem With Every "Safe" Pan

The cookware industry has a formula for what happens when a chemical gets banned.

Find a replacement. Give it a new name. Put new words on the box. Wait for the next ban.

PFOA was banned. PFAS replaced it. PFAS faced regulation. "Ceramic sol-gel" arrived. Every few years the label changes. The coating underneath stays the same category of thing: a synthetic layer applied over a base metal, with a lifespan measured in months and a breakdown process that ends up in the food cooking on top of it.

She didn't do anything wrong. She bought what the label said was safe. The label was written by the same industry that created the problem.

The Only Real Answer

The only way out of the coating cycle is no coating.

Not a safer coating. Not a natural coating. No coating.

Pure Grade 1 titanium has no coating at any layer. The cooking surface is the metal itself. The same material surgeons use for bone plates, joint replacements, and dental implants because it does not react with the human body, does not leach into tissue, and does not break down under heat or time.

It has been trusted inside the human body for over 60 years.

We put it in your kitchen.

Every Sear pan is independently tested by SGS, one of the world's leading certification laboratories. The test result is on every product page. Not a badge we designed. A document with methodology, detection limits, and results you can read and verify yourself.

Because you have been given claims you could not verify for long enough.
