People Who Try Titanium Never Look Back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Sarah K., 42 | Austin, TX
"I'd already bought a "titanium" pan that was just Teflon with a different name. What made me trust Sear was finding the actual lab certificate on the page. A real document, not a badge they designed themselves."

Anya B., 59 | Manchester, UK
"Two brands told me my pan wasn't covered under warranty because of carbon buildup. I read Sear's terms before buying. No carbon buildup clause, no overheating clause. Nothing that could be used to blame me."

"Two years of research. Seventeen tabs open. I bought this after finding the lab certificate and being able to verify it myself. Four months in and the only thing I regret is not doing it sooner. Close the tabs."

Wrong Cookware Will Poison The Food You Serve To Your Family

Most pans, even "premium" ones, contaminate your food with toxic substances.

Cancerogenic Classic Non-Stick Pan

Classic Non-Stick Pan

  • ✕ Toxic coatings (PTFE/PFOA)
  • ✕ Breaks down at high heat
  • ✕ Coating leaches into food
Reactive Stainless Steel Pan

Stainless Steel Pan

  • ✕ Leaches nickel & chromium
  • ✕ Food sticks & burns
  • ✕ Heavy, requires technique
Demanding Cast Iron Pan

Cast Iron Pan

  • ✕ Will Rust w/o Constant Care
  • ✕ Reacts with Acidic Foods
  • ✕ Can Contain Lead/Cadmium
Disposable Ceramic Pan

Ceramic Pan

  • ✕ Coatings chip into food
  • ✕ Loses non-stick over time
  • ✕ Toxic aluminum below coating

Titanium Isn't Competing. It's Replacing.

From toxin & bacteria risks to high maintenance, these "outdated" kitchenware materials just don't measure up.

FOREVER CHEMICALS

Non-Stick Coated / Teflon

Worst type of pan surface there is. Teflon / majority of non-stick pans release toxic PFAS chemicals, known as "forever chemicals" which have been linked to cancer and liver damage.

HEAVY METALS

Stainless Steel

Requires lots of oil to prevent sticking, and reacts with acidic foods – altering taste and potentially leaching metals in lower-quality pans.

ALUMINUM BASE

Ceramic

Ceramic coatings are very fragile, once chipped, they expose toxic aluminum base. Most only last 1-2 years before losing their non-stick.

RUST | HEAVY METALS

Cast Iron

Incredibly heavy and high-maintenance – cast iron rusts easily without regular seasoning and struggles with acidic foods.

MICROPLASTICS

Plastic

Contains BPA's or other harmful chemicals that shave off into food during cutting, posing a risk to hormone, gut & brain health.

BACTERIA | MOLD

Solid Wood

Not hygienic. Wood is porous, it absorbs raw food juices & moisture. Cut grooves trap bacteria, making it nearly impossible to sterilize.

FORMALDEHYDE

Bamboo & End-Grain

Same risks as solid wood, plus they're pieced together from small blocks using industrial glue that contains carcinogenic formaldehyde chemicals.

INCONVENIENT

Glass / Stone / Steel

These materials are very hard & dull knives quickly. Very heavy as well.

BPA | PHTHALATES

Plastic

Plastic spatulas have a very low melting temperature, releasing toxic chemicals each time they're used, causing serious health risks like gut, hormone disruption & cancer.

BPA | PHTHALATES

Silicone

While high-end silicone spatulas are heat-resistant, most found on Amazon or in regular stores degrade over time and release toxic chemicals.

BACTERIA | MOLD

Wood

Not hygienic. It lets bacteria grow in grooves and cracks, even if invisible, which can contaminate your food over time.

HEAVY METALS

Steel

Most are made from low-grade alloys that release heavy metals like chromium and nickel into your food when heated.

 Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve seen cheaper “titanium” pans online. What makes this one different?

Many pans advertised as “titanium” don’t actually use pure titanium. They cut costs by mixing it with reactive metals that leach into your food.

The entire cooking surface of the Sear Nutri-Pan Pro is made from Lab-certified pure titanium - the same grade used in surgical tools. It’s more hygienic, more durable, and completely free from toxic coatings.

Cheaper pans may save you a few dollars upfront... but they’ll lose their non-stick, warp, and may even leach metals or chemicals into your food.

With Sear, you get a pan that’s safe, clean, professional grade, and backed by a lifetime guarantee.

How is titanium better than other cooking surfaces?

Non-stick pans (including ceramic) have chemical coatings (like PTFE and PFOA) that get in your food and release toxic fumes at high heat.

Stainless steel can leach nickel and chromium - and food sticks to it like glue.

Cast iron is heavy, can rust easily, and requires extensive special maintenance.

Titanium has NONE of these problems. It’s naturally non-stick, non-toxic, won’t rust or warp, and requires no special maintenance.

Will food actually stick? I've heard that about every pan.

Honest answer: the first one or two cooks may feel different from what you're used to. Titanium is not Teflon. It works best on medium heat with a small amount of oil. Most customers find that by cook three or four, food releases cleanly and consistently, including eggs.

The non-stick property comes from the hammered surface texture, not a chemical coating. Thousands of micro-peaks across the cooking surface reduce the contact area between food and pan. Food sits on peaks, not a flat surface, and releases naturally.

Because this is physical rather than chemical, it does not wear off. The pan you cook on today performs identically in ten years.

If you have any difficulty in the first week, contact us. We will walk you through it. Most issues resolve immediately with one small technique adjustment.

But aren't most pans "PFAS-free" now?

This is the most important question in the category and most brands avoid it.

When PFOA was banned, manufacturers did not stop using forever chemicals. They replaced one compound with others , GenX, PFBS, and dozens of newer compounds from the same chemical family, and relabelled the box. The marketing changed. The chemistry did not.

The only way out of this cycle is cookware made from a single pure metal with no coatings and nothing to replace or reformulate. Sear's cooking surface is verified PFAS-free, PTFE-free, and coating-free by independent SGS lab testing. The certificate is on this page. The detection limits are listed. You do not have to take our word for it.

Why titanium instead of stainless steel or cast iron?

Both are legitimate options. Here is an honest comparison.

Stainless steel is safe but food sticks without precise technique and significant oil. It requires practice to use well and is unforgiving for delicate foods like eggs or fish.

Cast iron is extremely durable but heavy, requires ongoing seasoning to prevent rust, and is slow to heat. It also leaches iron into acidic foods, which matters for some people.

Titanium is naturally non-reactive, does not rust, does not require seasoning, and is half the weight of cast iron. The hammered surface creates natural food release without a chemical coating. It works on every cooktop including induction and is oven safe to 540°C.

If you already love your cast iron or stainless, keep using it. Sear is for people who want the safety of solid metal with the ease of a non-stick surface, without the chemical coating that makes traditional non-stick pans a liability.

What if I don't like it after ordering it?

120 days to decide. If it is not the best pan you have ever owned, contact us for a full refund. We process the refund when it arrives at our warehouse.

Can I use metal utensils, put it in the dishwasher, or use it in the oven?

Yes to all three.

Metal utensils will not scratch or damage the titanium surface. This is one of the hardest metals used in cookware.

Dishwasher safe, though a quick wipe with warm water after cooking is usually all it needs.

Oven safe to 540°C / 1000°F. Sear on the stovetop and finish in the oven without switching pans.

Do you sell on Amazon or in retail stores?

No. Genuine Titanium Pan is only available on this page and at sear-cookware.com.

Amazon and retailers take a large cut of every sale (often 30-50%), which forces most cookware brands to inflate their prices to cover the middleman. We chose to skip that entirely.

By selling directly to you, we keep our pricing as low as possible while never compromising on the quality of the pan itself. You're getting pure medical-grade titanium cookware at a price that's only possible when there's no retailer sitting between us and you.

Every dollar goes into making a better pan, not into a middleman's pocket.

Is it really non-stick?

Yes! Titanium surface releases food easily.

And it does this without using any of the toxic “forever” chemicals that traditional non-stick pans use.

How heavy is it?

Titanium is surprisingly light for how strong it is. At just 2.3 lbs, the 12" pan is easy to lift, handle, and pour from - even when full.
